Persephone Clothes
Persephone Books now stocks a very Limited Edition
of Persephone Clothes:
The pinny £30

The apron £20

The jacket £65

The dressing gown (which comes in a matching cotton
bag) £40

The scarf £10

Everything except the jacket can be sent by mail
order for £3 extra (the jacket can only be bought
in the shop because we feel it needs to be tried
on).
The apron, pinny and dressing-gown come in one
size only; the jacket comes in small, medium and
large. All are made of Indian cotton.
As well as jackets, aprons, pinnies and dressing-gowns,
we now have scarves (£10 each) and fabric.
The fabric for the Persephone Clothes is an Indian
chintz that is also used on the endpaper for The
Far Cry by Emma
Smith (Persephone Book No 33); it is £15
a metre.
We also now sell three fabrics supplied by Borderline
Fabrics: a fritillary that is used on the endpaper
from Gardener's
Nightcap by Muriel
Stuart (Persephone Book no. 66); a variation
on the star pattern from The
Hopkins Manuscript by RC
Sherriff (Persephone Book No 57) ; and Black
Goose from Farewell
Leicester Square by Betty
Miller (Persephone Book No 14); these are
£40 a metre.
To order, please contact
us by post, telephone
