Persephone Books reprints neglected fiction and non-fiction by mid-twentieth century (mostly women) writers. Each one in our collection of 102 books is intelligent, thought-provoking and beautifully written, and most are perfect presents or a good choice for reading groups. We sell all our books by mail order or in our shop, however the ten Persephone Classics are widely available in bookshops in the UK and the US; we also sell five of our titles as audiobooks and (so far) nine e-books.
